Thanks Jason.

Pretty much nailed it. Couldn't get a better example and recommendation from a credible source than this one. The unknown is how the new Mahlkonig Pro M is going to perform and I have definitely narrowed my choices down to the Baratza or the Pro M based on my satisfaction of the K30. Fingers crossed that it will be here to test next week.

Thanks for the response.

I have spoken to a local distributor in Canada and he told me that the ProM will not be available for another couple of months, early spring maybe.

I couldn't wait that long and be a guinea pig on the first batch in...

Interesting......the local dealer has been told by the distributor that the Pro M's are at the docks and are expected to be released next week.

I am not concerned about being a guinea pig on anything that I buy from Fortuna, the local dealer. They always stand behind everything they sell. I just want to make sure that I get the selection right the first time.

Thanks for the post.

Not surprising that we would get it later in Canada but months...? I had an e-mail exchange with the distributor again today confirming that the ProM will not be available for a while. I'll keep looking.
