Quamar M80 Espresso Coffee Grinder

Postby doubleOsoul on Sat Oct 15, 2011 1:20 pm

Have anyone tried these grinders? Apparently they are comparable to the Fiorenzato T-80 (which I can testify are monsters). The price is pretty fair too. I'd like to hear some feedback from users.

Yeah; the title has Ceado first, so it's easy to miss. The bargain price and functionality of the Quamar definitely makes it the bigger news for most home users.

I'm ordering the new electronic version from 1st-Line right now. I'll try to add a little more info focusing on the timer once I receive it.

Is the electronic version doserless ? I downloaded the picture from 1st Line and brightened it up to get a better look.

Yep, back in August Jim from 1st-Line posted this in Marketplace:

Is there any input on the electronic doserless version? I am very interested in grind retention and other feedback on this grinder. Taste profile vs the Super Jolly.

Thanx for responding. I'll wait eagerly for more info. One thing that has me concerned is the stepped adjustment. I dont need the timer as I only load 14 grams into the grinder. I usually use a 4oz tamper to keep pressure on the beans while they grind.
