Please help ID grinders

Postby vanchopski on Tue Jan 24, 2012 4:00 pm

I just joined and haven't done an intro yet but I'll be doing that in a bit.

I'm wondering if anyone can help me ID a couple of grinders. All I know for sure is that both are Nuova Simonelli. If anyone can help out with model and age it would be a big help.

Oops. First time without photos. Now attached.

Thanks!

Good point. I actually uploaded two that I thought met the size requirements but they're not showing.

the black and brown ones are both Rossi RR45. Brown one made for dosing directly into the portafilter. Rancilio is MD40?

Really! I haven't seen them in person but the guy was sweearing up and down they were NS. I was looking online but couldn't find any NS grinders that matched so I guess that explains it.

Is it possible to tell how old they are by style or will I have to get numbers from the data plate?

Are these considered to be great quality commerical grinders? Because that's what I'm after! :)
