I can't find any current info on this grinder! All of the reviews are a few years old and when chris coffee stopped carrying it the prince as in the $300-$400 range. Now if you look at other sites the price is in the $600 range? Is this a different grinder now?

Same grinder, made by Eureka, and ultra-sweet. Tastes somewhere north of a Mini and south of an SJ. Much more elegant and civilized than either for home use.

I think the price rise is more or less in line with other grinders, the normal euro and inflation thing. It never caught on with the hobbyist crowd here, who prefer more commercial models. This is why Chris dropped it, despite personally regarding it very highly. In Italy too, it is seen as the absolute cream of the crop for specifically designed home or office grinders.

I guess the ProM is now looking to take that high end home grinder crown.
