That's a tough one and advice needs to be given from someone who owns that particular Ceado. It LOOKS as though the taller funnel would be a tight fit.How do I know which is better for my grinder?

I use that in a 58mm basket and it works fine with my E37s.
I use the tall one since the low wide one is light weight and can fall off if you are bumping the PF into the body to activate the grinder.
I own both.

I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but the OE Ipanema 58 is what you want. Tall enough to accept coffee cleanly from any grinder ever made. A tap on the table to settle the grounds, remove the funnel, tamp and go. One of the best espresso accessories ever made.

Speaking for myself, yes.
I have used it on several grinders. Here is is with the HG-One. I did however bevel the top lip because I did not need to be able to add the short funnel on top and the bevel allows more grounds to fall into the basket.
You can see it in the photo sitting on my powered HG-One, along with the short one hanging on the wall/backsplash board. It is no longer there since I don't use it. I just use the TALL ONE.

I haven't felt any need at all to use a portafilter funnel with my E37S: it deposits every grain of coffee quite cleanly into the basket. Can't say the same for the Mazzer Mini E that it replaced, however...ahem...
I should add that I'm not one of those people who overfill the basket and then wipe off several grams before tamping. If that's your technique, I don't have much advice for you.

I used my Ceado today for the first time... it shot the grinds directly into the portafilter with zero mess. I'm thrilled! The very first shot - without adjusting anything from the factory - was better than the best shot I ever produced with my Forte. I'm very much pleased with this grinder.

I took my 83mm HG-One, motorized, and did back to back shots against my E37s and could not tell enough of a difference to know which one I was using! Maybe with other coffee beans I might but the ones I was using I could not.
Nice grinder Ceado produced

I experienced the same difference between the E37S and my old Mazzer Mini E. The Ceado is faster, quieter, and the grounds are a lot fluffier -- which to me means more consistent -- with an identical output weight. And the in the cup/in the mouth results are so much nicer.SonVolt wrote:I used my Ceado today for the first time... it shot the grinds directly into the portafilter with zero mess. I'm thrilled!
