I have traveled to Italy twice and now I am convinced I need to treat myself to real coffee!!! Im going to purchase my first espresso machine (probably a super automatic). I like hot and cold drinks. Can someone tell me if any of the Gaggia machines can cold froth milk? I am leaning towards the platinum or the accademia machines. I have read that some of the nespresso machine frothers have this capability but I would rather not deal with buying capsules. Any advice would be great. Thanks!!

You probably won't get much help with super automatics on these forums. The people here tend to go for the highest quality possible, and super autos just don't do it. They cost too much and make terrible coffee. Not to mention they often have reliability issues. Generally people who buy super autos regret it and/or end up purchasing a proper espresso kit once they drink what it produces.
