Has anyone tried the everpure RO's like the MRS-100CC?

http://foodservice.pentair.com/en/produ ... m-ev997010

What are the differences vs other home RO's like iSpring, Pure Pro or Apec??

Thanks-

For most home applications it is huge overkill. Everpure's improved, single-cartridge Claris Ultra works fine: http://bit.ly/1TbUfJp.

I live out in the country, so there's a few things besides minerals that I want to remove before drinking our well water. We have been using a RO unit for years, and really like it. I know it's debated for espresso, but by the time i tweak the other dozen or so variables in making espresso, the overall result is really good.

We went with a way overpriced unit from Culligan, as they did our softener at the same time. If I was buying one right now, I would go with APEC based on reviews on the product and on the service they provide. (In fact, I have it all picked out--I would go with http://www.freedrinkingwater.com/ro-perm-detail.htm)

Last year we added a calcine cartridge (which is my guess what is the CC in the Pentair unit), which brought the pH closer to neutral and also added additional taste to the water. So our TDS is now running at 45 or so.

As an online shopper for many years, I always like Full made in USA products like this company ( Yes, I drink only Reverse Osmosis water ) Just purely H2O. http://www.uswatersystems.com/us-water- ... ystem.html

As we all know Drugs residues from Big Pharmaceutical. Factories and Big Companies byproducts like, FLUORIDE, Arsenic, LEAD, MERCURY, NITRATES, Volatile Organic Compounds, Herbicide, Pesticide....and many more.....

So, Buy the BEST REVERSE OSMOSIS System for you whole family. ( For Health Sake )

+ FREE FROM BPP and NSF Certified :D

Also a very good Alkaline filters( Made In USA ) From: QMP http://www.gamurdock.com/gam/out/BRANDS ... ilters.htm

If you think using RO system is wasting water, you also can try These Under Sink water purifier system Recommended by Dr. Andrew Weil https://www.h2odistributors.com/h2o-rus-200

None Standardised water filters like Everpure are also very expensive to use and replace, So I Highly recommended 10'' Commercial Standard water filters and Housings. They are cheap and easy to replaced and you can buy them even in Supermarket.

Is there a connection kit for this filter and is there a recommendation to purchase on line?

Also the spec sheet states
"Do not use hardness test strips to check for
hardness reduction. Please use a titration
kit to check for hardness reduction"

What do you use or recommend?

Thank You,

Jeff
