Eureka Mignon or Rancilio Rocky or ?

Postby skibum on Sun Apr 10, 2011 2:42 pm

Hi,

Looking for my first grinder. I like the idea of a doserless. Fresh grind every time.

Size and cost are important. Max of £300 and somthing under 40cm high.

I have seen the Rocky in a shop and I liked it but I like the look of the Mignon...

I bought a used Olympia Cremina about 6 months ago and I now understand the need for a good grinder!

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks -

The Mignon is two steps up in usability and build quality, and about a half to one step in grind quality.

Thanks Jim,

I was just looking at the Compak k3 touch. It's a bit bigger than I wanted and right on the edge of what I want to pay.... ???

I'm not familiar with it, but there are several people who have one. Hope they can chime in.
