I believe the BZ02 has a vacuum breaker, so you should be able to put it on a timer with no problems.

Cleaning is pretty simple. Wipe off the dispersion screen and PF after every shot. Backflush and do a PF wiggle with hot water after every session. Backflush with detergent every week or two. Descale about once a year, unless you're using very soft water, in which case you may be able to forego descaling for longer periods.

For more details, read this:

Enjoy your new machine! You're going to love it. And if it's any consolation, you're getting a good deal compared to what many of us have spent on machines and grinders over the years.
Lock and load!
