Skewing the discussion out of undisclosed commercial interest is quite a big deal on the internet where people assume trust and honesty. Therefore, accusing others of having an undisclosed commercial interest is a serious insult. I am astounded that you lack the comprehension to come to such a conclusion yourself.

actually bandit, it sure seems like your calling me a dumb ass for buying a technivorm, other words I didnt like were "grow up" ,
BTW I'm an engineer also (like that really matters here<G>. The build quality is good externally, and excellent regarding the heating system. You seem to ignored the test results that stated the water temp control was "the" best. To some (including me) that is all that matters, I did not buy mine for durability, nice to know that it is.
My read of the issues is you are justifying your decision by critizing others who have made a different choice.
Leave it alone, enjoy your new coffee maker, dude you're over the top. If you owned a TV over a significant time frame and offered the same opinion I'd be all ears. But you haven't and your just repeating things written in public forum posted on the net, (like that's always accurate).

Given the tone of the last few pages, I respectfully remind contributors to recall the Guidelines for productive online discussion, notably the first one, Be respectful. As an example, it's perfectly find to say "I think the EspressoWiz 2000 is overpriced. The EspressoGeni 2001 does everything and more for half the price." It's not respectful to say "I've never used it, but based on the reviews I've read on the Internet, I conclude that only fools buy the EspressoWiz 2000".

Sorry for the interruption, but I've deleted the last few posts that rehashed the previous posts. Rather than suffer another round of lastworditus, this thread is locked for a short "chill out" period. Thanks.
