I tried a couple of the inexpensive Chinese scales and they had too many problems for me.

I'm a huge fan of my Jennings CJ-600. Old Will Knott Scales sells them directly, as well as through Amazon.

I got a Salter 1250 from London Drugs on sale a while ago. They keep them behind the counter due to high theft rates. 250g scale, accurate to 0.1g (it will read to 0.05g, but I'm sceptical that it's that accurate).
