Whoa. Nice looking rig. Grinder I mean. Looks like some cool rigs in background, too. :)

Thanks for posting performance so far. Look forward to hearing more. Have to imagine will be able to tune it in, but I've not had a titan-type grinder...

Thanks to the HB community I was able to purchase the Strega from Fortuna Enterprises here in North Carolina. As discussed in a separate thread, seeing the equipment firsthand and meeting with Nasi (the owner) was a great learning experience as well as a very pleasant visit. Nasi was generous with his time and knowledge and clearly values building relationships over doing transactions. He even threw in some old coffee to help dial it in as well as a few pounds of his signature Sergio's blend espresso.

I have family in town for the holiday and we've been putting the machine through the paces. I feel I am all ready pulling better shots than can be purchased locally. The Strega seems forgiving as I haven't pulled a "sink shot" yet - at least to my palate. The Sergio's blend has been very pleasing winning out over a couple other brands we've pulled.

It's thrilling to be back to drinking espresso after all these months. Thanks to the community and Fortuna for the help!

Now I just have to reread tips and techniques for frothing because as mentioned it is a steaming beast...
