Can't find a Mahlkoenig Pro-M!

Apparently there is a backorder from the factory and the Pro-M is unavailable. Does anyone know where I can pick one up?

If you will use yours only for espresso, you might want to hold up a bit. An espresso-only model will be out later this year. I was told it will have a digital timer, fixed metal fork, some grind path mods and be calibrated toward the finer side of the grind.

I was planning on using it for French press and drip grinds (I have a K30 vario on the way for espresso). The Pro-M is probably overkill as a secondary grinder anyway- I just ordered a Baratza Vario to handle the other grinds. The only negative comments I read about the Baratza had to do with the amount of plastic it was made with, not of its performance. I guess I can paper machet the $900 I saved to the Baratza as reinforcement!

Heard today that Mahlkonig will be drop shipping more Pro-M machines late next week or early the next. I guess I'll keep my order in and wait it out!
