Alberto (IF that's your real name) Image --

While some of us have "nicks," nearly all of us have our real names right where it says "Real Name: _______" off to the right, right where you show "Alberto." Ergo, hardly anonymous. To the point at hand, however, I own neither the Bezzera nor the Rocket; but based upon everything I've heard and/or read from people I've come to trust, I think both machines are solid, well-made, and will serve you well.

Cheers,
Jason

Well, one thing I know is you can't beat this price for an Elektra T1 anywhere in the US. I keep coming back to this saying "just maybe I have the room!".

Is there any online store recommendations with the lowest prices? This stuff is already way expensive and overpriced, so I would appreciate some saving when I can.

As others have generously explained, the ease of Internet price comparison tends to keep these prices within narrow brackets, so the several best-regarded vendors, all well-known on this forum, compete on customer service, both before (customer education, product choice) and after (warranty, repair, upgrade) a sale. That's precisely where you're most likely to find "some saving." The best of them can be surprisingly generous with their expertise, even when they know that you are "window-shopping" and may not be a solid sales prospect just yet. At least that's been my experience with Chris', several times over. If you are holding out for an unlikely stroke of luck in the price department, you might want to read this first.

Hello.

I just skimmed this thread so sorry if this is a duplication, but if you're looking for a deal, you might call some of the vendors who sponsor the site and ask if they have any buyers remorse returns or used machines.

I suggest vendors /sponsors because if you want used, it seems to me you especially want a reliable vendor - just the idea of buyers remorse let me know that they (Chris Coffee in my case), were interested in a happy customer, not just getting a machine out the door. They made sure I knew what I was getting ("You know Alexia is NOT an HX?"). The price seemed very fair to me and service was very good, in my case, in the form of help with troubleshooting sessions on the phone and providing a part when it seemed one wasn't working, even after the full 1 year warranty had passed.

Good luck!
