ASTORIA CMA -SAE/1N

Postby Sara2 on Fri Jun 17, 2011 7:12 pm

I am being offered a used, but "like new" espresso machine. The seller is saying that the machine is ASTORIA CMA -SAE/1N and is asking $1000 for it. I can't find this exact model on the Astoria site, but it does look similar to Divina SAE 1. Is that the same machine, perhaps an older model? Is $1000 a good price for it?

IMHO, A grand is too much to pay for that machine.

Sara: I'm always leary of "like new" in any context, unless it is documented. On the other hand I have an Astoria, very much like this that has been running in my home for some 14 years with little to no trouble. Can you get more info on it's history? Was it in a cafe or home and for how long?
Good luck, KDM
